2025 was a year that tested the resilience of global health systems - and demonstrated what's possible when partners work together with purpose.
This year's Annual Report captures a year of meaningful learning, strengthened coordination, and tangible progress across the alliance - achieved in the face of growing humanitarian needs and constrained resources.
A defining moment of the year was the Fourth UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs and Mental Health and Wellbeing. Through sustained collaboration, advocacy, and alignment across alliance members and partners, we helped elevate the importance of addressing diabetes and other non-communicable diseases in humanitarian settings - reflected in their inclusion in the Political Declaration. This represents an important step forward in recognizing the needs of people living with diabetes in crises at the highest global level.
We also convened the 5th Annual Symposium on Diabetes in Humanitarian Crises, held in Geneva and online, creating space for partners to connect, share learning, and shape priorities for the year ahead.
These are just two highlights from a year rich with activity. We invite you to explore the full Annual Report to learn more about the progress we’ve made together across the alliance.

2025 reminded us, once again, that the most meaningful progress is never made alone. We are deeply grateful for the partnership, expertise, and commitment each of you brings to this work — and for the trust that makes this alliance possible.
As we continue through 2026, we carry this momentum forward with a continued sense of urgency, and we look forward to what we will accomplish together.
